B6 1.8T vs B7 2.0T.......Help

I am wondering why my friends A4 has higher boost then mine.........

My Car:
B7 A4 2.0T - APR S3 K04 kit, Vast meth injection, 100oct prog, HFC, Forge DV, 034 HFC, TT 2.5in Downpipe....
Peaking at 18psi and holding 17psi...

His Car:
B6 1.8T - APR K04 kit, AEM Meth injection, 100oct prog, Test pipe, 2.5in downpipe, Forge DV, n75 valve....

peaking at 24psi and holds 21psi

Any reason why his boost is so much higher then mine?

Could this be due to the bigger engine?

Is this normal for my car or could i have a boost leak?

Any Thoughts?

if you're trying to determine if it's normal for your car given your mods and method of monitoring, don't compare two different motors as normal is going to be different between the two, especially since they are modified.

18 peak on a ko4 sounds really low though. A stage 1 ko3 makes that much boost, no?

Yeah my stage 1 k03 peaked at 18 psi, held around 16. That does sound low for an 04
