1999.5 2.8 AHA

Sometimes the idle is steady, other times it surges bad and even dies sometimes. Going full throttle it will stutter/hesitate intermittently. Easing into it will make the symptoms less noticeable.

MAF is good, AIT sensor is good, CTS is good, NO leaks, Plugs are new, wires are not very old, no oil leaks anywhere, O2's are good, Cat's are good

Have you run a TBA through vag-com? And you checked your MAF at WOT at the top of 3rd gear?

I did run a throttle body alignment. It reads 2-3* at idle and 69 WOT. MAF reads up to 278 at the top of 2nd. I can't do a top of 3rd... I'm on probation for certain car related incidents and SOMEHOW kept my license. I WILL NOT speed.... so it's out of the question.

So I tried a MAF, coils, and checked my fuel pressure while driving. None of them helped

You would be off better sending him a PM to find this out. He sold his A4 and moved onto an S4, so he does not visit this section much.
