just picked a 2.0fsiT up with a shot turbo
fitted new turbo etc
is it possible for oil to go thoroug the TB into the smic ?
im asking as iv cleaned the pipe from TB to smic 3 times and it keeps geting oiled up
or is it been forced up the pipe from the smic to the TB

TIA

all turbo cars have a certain amount of blow by into the intercoolers, what considered abnormal would be a pool at the bottom in a short amount of time. Oil residue is more than normal on the pipes.

its more than normal
my own 2 2.0fsiT dont have this much
it collects in the hose in a few miles run
so if it was in the IC after the turbo went
could it be forced back up the hose towards the TB

when you see oil in the intercooler pipe either you crankcase breather valve is faulty or i would say your valve cover is internally cracked.
but for the valve cover it really depends on how much oil comes out.

i know bout the valve cover all thats ok
but when the last turbo went it dumped the oil in the smic idiot garage bloke didnt clean them out so im asking can the oil in the smic
be forced back up towards the TB ?
