I was at Kaizen Tuning the other day and they had a BG rep in, looks like they are thinking about stocking the stuff...
Always wanted to try the 44K fuel additive and I hear there engine sludge treatment is better than seafoam? Anyone confirm?

Audi Westwood does the full BG Service. I had it done at 45K.

audi recomends the dealers use bg products, you use bg flush for a warranty sludge repair. the stuff scott has is more for the newer fsi motors.

When I had my RS4 they did some system clean out thingy for around $140, was that bg? When I bring R8 in for service plan on having it done to it

which makes no sense seeing as it wont remove valve gunk since nothing is washing the backs of the valves and thats the biggest power robbing problem.

To those who have done the service: have you noticed any difference?

actually there are multiple BG products... there is an oil flush... that cleans out the gunk in the system. Then there is an air injection cleaner, and fuel system cleaner that cleans everything else...

you are exactly right but thats what they want to try first. i guess they think it will clean the injector tip

I was referring to the stuff the stuff the dealer gave Scott... although I dont think an oil flush or air injection cleaner would do much to clean the backs of the intake valves either.

It seemed a little more responsive to me after the service, yes ** but there's that psychological thing too so who knows. My MPG improved about .5 - 1 MPG averaged over a few tanks.
