I bought new D1S bulbs to install since my 7 yr old bulbs are aweful and starting to turn pinkish. only problem is that I live in a townhouse complex and have to do parking lot maintenence. well as you all know its barely been above 10 degrees so its way too cold to stand outside for 20-30 min and change them out. so is anyone in the boston/south shore area available with a garage to help me out, or let me use the warmth of your garage to do it myself? thanks!

im on the northshore if you want i can help you. make sure to wear gloves if you end up doing it yourself. dont want oil from you hands on the bulb. they can explode when they heat up if you do get oil on them. and i know as well as you do you dont want to have to buy new ones.

no problem! good news for you is its rather warm past couple days (considering the begining of the week was -4*). if you have OEM xenons, it really is super easy! all you need is a torx bit, rachet/extension, and about 20 minutes [:)]

i bought the torx bits. someone mentioned to get to the passanger side lamp you need to remove the air box. i havent actually popped the hood to check. but if youre saying its easy than ill go out and give it a shot in a little bit. mid 30s heatwave haha
