Ok I have searched for 2 days to try and find an answer and I can't find one I am looking to upgrade the clutch and put a lwfw on my car and I was wondering how difficult it is I have done clutches before I'm just asking because on my last car which was an 05 tl you needed a special tool to preload the clutch or something like that oh my car is an 08 a4 quattro if someone could point me in the right direction or give me there personal experience it would be greatly appreciated

2008 A4 and you need to replace the clutch??? Sound way to soon, it should be coverred under warranty because it does not sound normal to me.

By the way I have a 2006 runing Stage 2+ for a while now and still on stock clutch.

^^ agreed. OP, how many miles do you have on your car?

warranty does not cover clutch, its considered normal wear n tear and proven too difficult to determine driver error or manufacturing error

47000 I bought it with around 41000 I don't have any problems engaging it or anything it just if am driving and the rpms are around 3000 and I hit the gas it will jump like 800 rpms then fall down an the car will go I have been reading a bunch of post and some suggest the pcv valve but I don't have a rough idle and my car is supposed to have the revised one anyway

If you're in gear and the RPM jumps when you get on the gas but the acceleration is not there, it's a slipping clutch.

I don't have any idea how a bad PCV valve could cause this when there HAS to be something slipping in the transmission.....

^^^ I thought the same thing but I seen a couple of post that mentioned it in some other threads

So Has anyone put a clutch in these cars and can tell me how difficult it is and if any special tools are required

The only special tools are some triple square bits, but those are pretty common for Audi's.
If you're still looking for a kit, shoot me an email.

Good luck with the new clutch and you should consider buying an heavy duty one (stage 1 or 2) even if your are not modded because you seem to be eating them quickly ;)
