I have been seeing good deals on KW but also have ready a lot of bad comments about their customer service and overall reliability. Any feed back here? Looking to pick up some suspension in the near future. Better options? I will not be tracking or racing so mainly prob height adjustable or maybe rebound.

Check out the Bilstein PSS9's or the Vogtland setups.

Yah I like the PSS9s but there have been some good prices on the KW but makes me wonder why EVERYONE is selling them at a discount. Do not know much about the Vogtland setups.

I have had KW V2 coil overs on my B6 for 7 years and 85,000 miles and I bought them used. No issues.

The Kw V2 coilover is a great setup! The system is intended for the experienced driver who requires to not only determine the individual lowering of their vehicle, but adjust the damper setting to fine tune the system to their needs. The adjustable rebound damper allows adjustment of the pitch and roll behavior of the vehicle, adapting it to one‘s own driving preferences. It also offers Infinitely adjustable rebound damping. I'll send you a PM with further details but here are a few pics for you to check out in the meantime.

Dang that sucks. Are you direct with KW? In the past I used to deal with ModBargains and they were also really helpful but in a b/o situation everyone is usually in the same boat.

I think KW is one of the best in the business!

I've been considering KW Coilovers lately...but uncertain of the ride quality. I currently have the sport package on my B8 and it's pretty good as is and want to stay about the same or a little stiffer. I definitely would NOT want to go towards stock non-sport B8!

Can anyone comment on ride quality?

Wow, that is crazy, hopefully you can get it sorted out!

While this is an older thread, I'll go ahead and add my $0.02 - Personally, I have heard good things about KW V2 and V3 coilover systems on various cars. I wouldn't have any qualms running them on my own vehicle, though it seems others on the 'zine have had issues.

How about stasis street sport coilovers. How do you guys think they compare to the kw v1's. Basically what I really wanna know is what do you think the best coilover is for around 1200-1500

KW's are a great coil that can handle the abuse of the street or track. Send me a PM for more information on special pricing!
