I have a power steering pump out of a 2.8 in my garage. I'm wondering if this pump will work on my 1.8t. I was under the impression that the pump is the same (possibly has a different bracket to hold it on?)
Looking for some clarification. It seems to me like it should be the same part, but before I take the time to change it out, I'd like to know if it even works.

Also, does anyone have any experience changing these out? how hard of a job will I be in for.

I bought my power steering pump used for 50 bucks. The best part is that I didn't use the recommended fluid, I went to walmart and bought 4 bottles of fluid that says for hondas and imports worked like a charm and I used only 2 bottles at like 2-3 bucks a piece.
