Gas door pops open slightly (same as if you do it from the door) when i hit the unlock button on the remote. I know it isn't suppose to do this???

HAHA sorry i read it and i thought it sounded funny but I figured that would be a very frustrating problem sounds like a vague probe with the unlock

The adaptations are set wrong on channel 61 of your central convenience module 46. The same thing happened to mine.
Using a Ross Tech VAG-COM tool, open module 46. Then click on "adaptation - 10." Type in "061" for the channel, and click "read." Mine was showing a value of 2.
Here's a list from the Ross Tech Wiki of options under Channel 061:
Channel 061: Variant Reduction
+1 = Rear Mechanical Window Regulators (PR-4R5) installed
+2 = Footwell Lights (PR-QQ1) installed
+4 = Fuel Tank Lid/Flap Release Button (PR-4K2/4K8) installed
Note: Adaptation value is the sum of the individual options.
Because my car does not have crank windows in the back, I don't add 1. I do have footwell lights, so I add 2. I also have a fuel tank lid release button (B6 cars did not), so I add 4. My sum is 2+4=6. The adaptation value should be 6 for my car. Since I changed that value and clicked save, it fixed the problem!

That just went from a bunch of nonsense to learning something new. There is still hope.
