So I have this intermittent problem. It almost sounds like a loose belt or something coming from under my hood on the passenger side. It's a squeal sound that would come from a loose belt and the sound is coming from something located closer to the ground by the passenger wheel. It seems the loudest right when i turn the car on, and gradually goes away the longer I drive it.
I've taken it to the dealer ship (CPO) 3 different times, and each time they seem to come up with a different story. They first said is was some sort of tensioner that need to be tightened and then said it was the bottom of the timing belt that needed to be tightened. I will be calling them Monday to get another appointment but I wondered if anyone might now wtf is really wrong with it?
BTW, it's Boardwalk Audi in the Dallas area if you ever have the option of dealing with them, don't.
