I'm looking to get the timing belt kit from Blauparts
http://www.blauparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=GH21102-1A

I've read the DIY's and but I haven't been able to find a one of a complete timing belt job, like this one. My question is will I need any special tools to complete this job?
Thanks

I just did mine without any "special" tools, I just marked the old belt and transferred marks to new one and installed. Instead of the special crank holder tool I used a bolt and 11mm socket.

I just installed this kit on a fellow member's car last weekend. Make sure you get a waterpump with a metal wheel and not the plastic. No special tools are needed, unless you think torx and hex are special.

Has anyone bought a timing belt kit from this website before? Is the waterpump metal?

Actually, I changed my mind, I'm gonna go with fcpgroton's. Has anyone bought one from there before?

I got mine from ECS tuning. No complaints.

Here's the DIY I used. I used to a paint pen to mark everything (belt, pulley, and block) to make sure nothing moved.

Why is everything from fcpgroton so cheap? Is it bad quality?

Looking at their list, I believe the FCP t-belt kit is quite good. It uses a ContiTech belt, HEPU water pump, Continental Drive belts, etc. High quality stuff. They don't include coolant, or a bunch of unnecessary bolts which brings down the price a bit compared to other kits, and probably the shipping as well.

That doesn't speak for their other parts.

I got the same deal from Ecs tuning. I've seen alot of auto parts websites, but I think that one tops them all!
