I know the spring rates in the front will be a little bit stiffer but could i simply lower the front end to compensate for the spring not compressing as much or will i have a uneven bouncy ride?

I doubt you will see a big difference if any. I don't even think it matters.

Its hard to say with unknown mileage. Why doesn't the owner know the mileage.

This is given that the coilovers are progressive.

If you lower the front more the spring rate will only become stiffer...

What are the coilovers your choosing to go with?

I don't think it should matter much, ST coils only have one set of springs for all b5 quattro engines

They are H&R its a good deal so im considering it. If i lower the front it will be stiffer but not bouncy correct? bounce is corrected by dampening?
