This has happened a few times... not sure if it's anything major but just wanted to see what you guys think.

99% of the time my a/c works fine. But 2 times in the past month (while stopped/at idle), i turned on the a/c and it started blowing non-cooled air... (like everytime you turn on the a/c before it cools down a few seconds later, only these times it didn't start to cool). all the windows got all fogged up inside and I couldnt see. the air felt very humid and wasn't cold. As soon as I started to drive (from being stopped), the A/C kicked in/got cold and the windows cleared up....

any idea what would be causing this??

I think this behavior is totally normal.

I'm just mad that you have the ability to use the ac now... It still will be months before I'll ever turn that on.

If it's -10 degrees out and you have your A/C set to say 40 degrees, is that technically the heater?

Just a fundamental thought.

the AC compressor is driven by a belt, and it's "ability" to cool and dehumidify is directly related to engine speed. If the outside air is very hot or very humid, the AC compressor does not work hard enough at idle to do it's job. That's why when you start going again (or if you rev your engine), the humidity and temperature will drop immediately.
