I've got a 2007 B7 with OEM navigation. On the unit itself it says Audi navigation plus. On startup, a pic shows up that says Audi MMI. However Ive also read theres a type called RNS-E. If I want to upgrade my navi disc, which would I get? Got the following link from wikipedia "Certain Audi cars have a "pseudo" type of MMI. These are the A3, A4 (B6 and B7), the TT and the R8 - when fitted with the RNS-E DVD based "Audi Navigation Plus" system. Whilst appearing to be a similar layout, and operating in a similar manner, these two systems are very different, are unable to share mapping discs or software, and are not able to control non-ICE functions (such as Climate, convenience or suspension settings)."

So it appears i would need an RNS-E disc... Any help would be appreciated.

You have RSN-E if you have a B7 A4. www.navteq.com for upgrades

2004.1.8t gave me this information and I bought a 2010 NAV disk from him a few months ago for my 06...MMI on audi A4's is only on B8's and newer...If you have a pre-2009 audi A4 it should work.
