when I'm in cruise control and going up a hill less than a certain percentage incline, the car surges to keep speed as opposed to keeping a slow controlled throttle. also, when it stops accelerating it jerks the car, like it shuts of the fuel supply suddenly, this is the only time I can get the car to make this jerking.

anyone have any ideas? I've noticed it since I got the k04 and fmic installed. I also did the timing belt (64Kmi) at the time.

thanks

i guess I'll contact GIAC and bitch and moan to them...

anyone know if a VAG-COM can tune the cruise control variables?

Since the car is dbw the ecu controls the cruise instead of your standard servo/vacuum control. Could be a throttle position sensor. I'd try to redo the tba just to see if that makes a difference.
