Hey Guys,
So I am looking at the DDM HID Slim Ballast kit but I'm not entirely sure what I need. I have an 06 B7 A4 2.0T. I want to go with the 55w at 5000k.
Do you know if I only need to get one kit for high/low beams? (are they on a sigle bulb?)
What is the bulb size? (I think they are H7?)
And do I need the HID harnass (dual in/out) and error code eliminators?
Thanks for your help

you need to get the H7 55w 5000k kit thats all... that is what i have in my B6 and i love them... they are only the low beams but you don't need them on hi-beam...love them..

it depends on if you have halogen housings or bi-xenon housings.
If you have bi-xenon's you can't do the 55w kit because you must use your OEM ballasts which are 35w, in that case, just buy the d1s bulbs and swap them.
If you have halogen housings and you wanted a 55w kit for both high beams and low beams, you would need to purchase 2 separate kits. the low beam and high beam are both h7.

I have halogen housings. What about the HID harness and error code eliminators. Do you know if those are needed? Thanks for the clarification so far.

some say yes some say no to the error code eliminators, if you search there is a cheaper alternative to the error code eliminators by use of some resistors.. the thread is around here somewhere.
no need for a harness, the h7 kits are plug and play, made to fit into the factory wiring

they are not necessarily made to fit our car, but you will be able to tap them into your power relatively easy.
It's always safe to order the error canceling module, but I am not sure you will need it.
