Broken window for Christmas!!

Woke up and went to get into my car and found my rear window with a boulder in it. Scratched and dented my trunk, and bent the rear headrest to shit. Just wondering if this amount of damage will be more than my $500 deductible?? Thanks for the help.

Surprisingly I haven't pissed anyone off. I'm thinking they have me mixed up with someone else or thought there was something of value in the car. Ahhh who knows, either way this sucks to wake up to.

The way our house sits on the property is weird, my room sits at the other end of the property which is why I didn't hear a thing. Sucks...and I was kinda figuring I would be finding glass for years to come.

oh how i would love to catch someone...especially if it happened on my property :) haha

when i had my last car smashed up it was one of many in the area...
after they got bored with smashing out windows and lights they started setting convertibles on fire!
BUT!
one dumbass dropped his wallet at the scene and cops recovered it and hauled his ass in and made him give up the rest of his friends
turns out it was 5 kids all but one were under 18 but the 18 year old got charged with multiple counts of property damage, criminal mischief, and felony arson

There's not really much in the way of rear lips. I think the 3 piece looks awful cheap and looks like something you'd find on a mustang.

Same thing happened to me a couple months ago. Woke up to find a hole in my rear window and a dent in my trunk from a fist sized rock. My alarm did not go off either.

I ended up paying absolutely nothing! My insurance covers vandalism 100%. I was even given a free rental car while it was in the shop.
