hi
Really hoping someone can help me here. Looking for a PDF guide for single din to double din conversion but can't find one anywhere. There seems to be a PDF on hard drive site but link is broken. Would someone be able to send me this link or a copy of the PDF. I don't know where to cut the original dash to make room for moving the climate control unit.
Thanks very much

Really.. Searched for ages and couldn't find one that shows where the dash needs cutting for moving the climate down. Would you mind sharing the links

Does anyone know if you can do this conversion without buying any parts? I.e just cutting the bits

Definitely single din.. Maybe the American Market is different?
Just need to know if I have to buy the oem Audi double din cage or if the original can be cut to fit
Cheers

Pretty sure that all US cars came with double dins, but I could be wrong.

ROW had options to not have a cassette drive, just a sigle disc player (came as single din) with the disc changer in the glove compartment.
I had that option in my 01 A4 (B6) when it came out, I was wondering why some one was using a cassette player in 2001, just to find out that it was still sold in US with that setting as late as 2006 still.
