ya those should be plug and play, i bought some dectanes off ebay and they are workin out for me pretty well. So not too many people have looked into those but id be interested to see how theyd look, so id say its a pretty safe bet goin with those, don't expect oem quality but its a good headlight.

These will fit if your car came with stock halogens.
If you're car came with OEM bi-xenons, you are high for buying these. They are shit quality and come with a 10-pin connector harness which is why (without modification to the harness) it will not fit unless you have OEM halogens.

I have OEM halo's and retrofitted HID's H7's.Can I transfer the HID's to this housings? I think that I need new bulbs (i.e. H4) since these have only one housing for the bulb and I will not have high beam with the H7's

I'm only speaking from experience, the dectances i bought off line i could install my own h7 hid kit in and it fits just fine. As long as the h7 bulb will fit in there, the hid kit should be good to go, it says you need to retrofit but i didnt have to do shit with my dectanes.

first of all, there was no package tracking from sociallightusa (ebay handle) which wasn't a big deal because they shipped quickly ($317 total with shipping). they were made in taiwan (at least it wasn't china) install was easy used both of the b7 DIY how to remove you bummer, a plug and play set. they look very similar to the 2010 headlights with exception to the turn signal placement (next to the grill on mine, close to the wheels on the new ones)
adjusting them sucks, the up and down was a 30 torque bit, the left to right is a 40 torque bit, the 40 bit needs to be a few inches long and slender to be able to rotate.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/58062735@N02/5338224418/in/photostream/ the adjustment ports are soft plastic and will strip out on you in a heartbeat. when you get the lo beams where you want, the high beams are REALLY high. and when the High beams are where you want them the lo beams are really low. I can't seem to get the headlights to aim at the same level with perfect coverage left to right, in that regard they seem cheap.
They dont fit perfectly either. on the outer edge they dont sit flush with the curve of the car. only you can't really tell unless you installed them yourself, or a perfectionist. If your both it'll drive you crazy.

Overall pretty pleased, though i still want to change to HID in the future. I get alot of complements from other audi drivers and when non-audi types see my car they wonder how i beat up a 2010 a4 so quickly (good and bad i guess).

tried to, my camera isn't the greatest so none of them really turned out. I have a new camera coming soon so will try again with that one.

They shouldn't be bright enough to show in sunlight all that well, especially in a pic regardless of camera. From what I've seen on here anyway. VAG your lights so the turns don't light up and they should look a lot better.
