hey guys, doing an in tank walbro pump today and just got the old one out. I am a little confused as the new walbro pump i have has a smaller dia pick up port and its a shorter port too(meaning it will not sit as low in the tank as the stock one) I know a lot of you guys are running these so I was looking for a little advice. do you guys just throw a sleeve on there to make up the overall outside diameter of the pump and call it a day?
will i have issues when the tank gets below a quarter tank? please help if you can

Pic? I think I tried to throw on that stock pickup filter on there to compensate.

well i put it in and it does run well....except it literally shits the bed anything over 12 psi. bucking and surging.
i have a elim kit with a uni 440 tune w/ the 3" intake etc...man i am stumped.

What are your A/F ratios after 12 PSI? It's possible that you're running rich with the higher flowing pump.

check for dents in the metal fuel line, check for kinks in the fuel line inside the tank
