On my 1996 A4 2.8, all engine cover fasteners don't hold anymore.
Does anyone have some laying around he could send, or where can they be ordered?

I am also missing the "Engine cover, lower, front; also known as Sound Dampening Pan", but shipping may be cost prohibitive and no luck at junkyards yet (cars I found have been missing the part). But who knows... (found it new at $140 plus S&H).

The fasteners should cost next to nothing at the dealer. Like you said, even if someone on here GAVE the to you, the shipping would probably come out to more. As far as the lower engine cover, apparently you can order a W8 Passat Cover, P/N 3B7 825 235A about $70 or so.

If you are planning on spending the money on a belly pan cover though, I would highly suggest looking into a Panzer Plate or Thor plate. The go in the place of the stock plastic cover, but are made in aluminum. Probably cost close to the same price, but can actually save your belly pan if the situation ever came around.

Hope that helps.

I looked up the MIL light bulb ($1) but the $8 shipping cured my desire.
