I just picked up my 08 B7 and i have been enjoying every minute of it... This forum has tons of information and i have been reading like crazy, hopefully i will be able to contribute just as much.

I also love the look of the black roof, but i don't think i could pull it off unless i lowered first... VMR wheels seem to be the holy grail of wheels on this forum lol i do like the 718's though

i have the same white ibis a4 s-line except mine IS a quattro and its AT. nice tints, and i'm a fan of the VMR 710's, but they're still sitting on my wishlist for now

Welcome OP. Congrats on the pick up. We're about twins, as I've got 08 6MT, FWD, but black. Hope you don't regret not holding out for quattro as much as I do. Still, I love the ride and 6MT makes it worth it.

Your tint looks awesome. Bi-xenons already? You are serious. Where are you getting those? VRMs are more the going rate on the Fourm. BBS LMs are more like the Holy Grail. Speaking of BBS, these are in your area and would get a resounding FUCK YEAH! on your Ibsis White

Few words of advice for the forum:
- Search (top, right "Audizine Search" box) before you ask anything
- You have to lower it, but no matter how low you go, it won't be low enough
- There are thousands of options for wheels and some will get you flamed. In general, avoid ugly ass wheels you'd see on a Civic.
- Don't claim to have an S-line, cause you'll get flamed for that too. 2008 models have Sline body, but most (like yours and mine) aren't true S-lines. Don't have the wheels, steering wheel, suspension...
- Expect to get flamed regardless. Bitches can be ruthless on the forum, but in general, you'll get a fair shake over the life of a post. Don't get upset when a douchbag or two says your shit looks like shit. Just know that by posting your mods and asking opinions, you'll get 'em - the good and the bad.
- In the end it's yours and how YOU like it is what matters.

Yeah, no kidding. Last tip: stop reading the AZ now or YOU. WILL. GO. BROKE. Blissfully unaware of all the must-have mods is not a bad place to be.

I'm not sure either if ALL 2008s have the s-line body, but I've read that plenty of times here on the forum. I think it's a good bet that a 2008 will have s-line body, but not the full s-line package.

No matter, if you add sport suspention (including RS4 rear sway) and 18" or bigger wheels, you'll get all the performance upgrades of the s-line package. No engine, exhaust or brake upgrades come with s-line package. Other upgrades are 3 spoke sport steering wheel (which is sweet, and I guess some could call this a performance upgrage) and S-line branded door sills. That's pretty much it. Some earlier S-lines came with rediculously sweet Recaro seats, but not all S-lines have those.

When I got mine I asked the sales guy what was up with the s-line badge on the front but no 18" wheels or 3-spoke steering. He said 08 was last year of B7 platform, which is of course true, and that Audi was either trying to move the last A4s by spiffing them up with the s-line body kit, or just trying to get rid of the remaining s-line body kits.

Don't sweat it though. Lot of guys here spend a lot to get the body kit that you've already got.

This guy got a lot better welcome, all it takes is some grammar and pics! Enjoy the forums and dumping money into these cars, it'll drain you. Nice looking car btw, even if it's not the "real sline" package it really doesn't matter. You will probably switch out the suspension and some interior pieces anyways, making it better than a sport suspension s line. Good luck!

All 08 models come with the S-line body but they all arnt a true S-line's like you said with the upgraded suspension, wheels, interior etc. I got my Tru S-line 2 weeks ago & love it!
