View Full Version : Have to gauge interest for S6 V10 headers...

I think around 2500 would be a reasonable price for this car. I am just going by what 63 benz headers go for. I need to show my fabricator at least some interest before he wants to do them. An exhaust system is possible also if there is a market for a couple units.

2500 is a pretty damn good price. Headers for the b6/7 S4 are 2500 and thats 2 less cylinders and less demand

Is it worth it? Stockers don't look too bad. Maybe gut the cats from them and place a straight pipe?

Thank you sir for that pic. I have been trying to find one like that. It looks like some of the runners go to one cat the other runners go to another. The problem would be getting to that upper cat. I can see the lower one with the belly pan still on. Just deleting the cats might be the best option. That would have to give 20 plus hp at min. Two cats on each side. I guess it wouldnt have been that bad if the runners on the headers all ran into one cat.

Yeah, it's an interesting design. I think it allows for long individual runners that still retain warm-up cats.

Best of luck with this, I'd love to hear that V10 opened up [up]

Yeah the design is interesting. I would like to see some long tubes going into a burns merg collector where the secondary cat is.

God am I glad I dont work on Audis everyday. What a complicated mess. The manifolds/headers are pretty wicked looking for factory stuff. Impressive! [up]

It can be frustrating at times, I used to be Audi/VW tech, I switched to service writing :)

Yes, there is. How many sets do you need?
