Crankcase Breather Hose replaced....anything else needed?

So my car was make a loud whining noise and also it was shuddering pretty bad at idle. Dealer said the crankcase breather hose needs replacement.

Is there anything else that gets damaged when that hose fails? My car is under warranty so i wanna make sure they replace everything neccessary if its not just the hose.

did some searching...i see other people replaced the PCV ...and I am having my Crankcase Breather hose replaced. Should i also have them replace the PCV?
