Resonators

I have an audi a4 , b7 with cai, dv valve and apr exhaust, i'm looking to install my testpipe with either and apr or unitoronic tune, my question is, has anyone removed their resonators from their exhaust? good or bad idea? any input

i took mine out of my stock exhaust....then installed a test pipe....i hate my exhaust sound....it is hands down the worst, people look at me funny when i start my car from a cold, it was hands down the biggest mistake i made with my car

Haha just asking cause my friend picked up a 2004 r32 so loud, I think cause they pulled the resonator, thanks guys

He has an exhaust, he's asking how does the APR sound with a res delete. I would say it should sound fine, louder, since removing resonators on a stock exhaust with HFC and just adding magnaflow mufflers sounds good.

Maybe someone who will actually read your post and has done something like what you're asking will chime in to confirm.

Ok I know this thread is about a month old, I want to do the same to my apr exhaust. Or I was thinking about putting a different (smaller resignator) on my apr exhaust, anyone?

do a custom exhaust. hit up AMS Autowerks in Linden NJ, they did mine and its sex to my ears lol. give them a call (908) 862-1550. Ask for Diogo tell him Rob from nyc sent you

I removed mine and added magnaflow mufflers and it sounds great. Working on getting a test pipe so I cant tell you how that sounds.
