View Full Version : Where to buy DTM front?

So I have already done the DTM conversion, but something tragic happened and another driver hit it and now I can't find a replacement. Apparently, Audi stopped carrying the DTM front end in the US and they don't have any more to sell. It wasn't all that expensive the first time I bought the cover, but now to get one to me is looking to be close to a thousand dollars just for the cover. Unpainted. Uninstalled.
Anyone know of a place to get a replacement cover? I don't care about the carbon fiber piece, as I never put it on anyway.
All I can find is this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2006-2008-Audi-A4-DTM-Look-Front-Bumper-Duraflex-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQfitsZMakeQ3aAudiQQhashZitem255a bac3c4QQitemZ160435979204QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruck Q5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_847wt_1012
Its not OEM and is a different cut, etc, but it might work. I just hate to throw money at a potentially craptastic piece of body molding.
Any help would be hugely appreciated.

there is like 2 selling in the classifieds isn't there?
Prestige Bumpers has a lot of Audi bumpers available. Bought my S-Line front bumper from them. www.prestigebumpers.com.

This listing shows a DTM bumper in pic for $310. But you may have to confirm since the title of the listing and their item# doesn't seem to make sense.

Ya that seems pretty sketchy, says they are refurbished oem bumpers but it says nothing about DTM or if its for s-line or non s-line. I know ECStuning.com has 2 different settups for s line and non slines, the sline settup is 300$ more than the non sline settup, im not really sure what the difference between the 2 are. I'm curious to know because I would assume they fit the same really, can any1 enlighten me?

The s-line version "package" just comes with the DTM grille I think

I wouldn't worry about them being sketchy as a company or quality of part (if thats what you mean). Lots of people here ordered though them, including myself and seem happy with them. They are all oem bumpers, they just seem to have mixed up the image with descriptions or something for this particular item. I would call to make sure first.
As NorcalPB said, the S-Line version is probably $300 more because you need a non-Sline grille with a DTM bumper. Non-Sline cars won't be needing a new grille since they can reuse their current grille.
