So I was cleaning the guage cluster and somehow scratched the plastic. Is there anyway to fix this with some sort of compound or am I shit out of luck and going to have to buy a new one? Also there is tons of dust behind the plastic...anyway to get that out of there too??

For the future, best way to clean any type of polycarbonate plastic is to use blue painter's tape to capture the dust particles first. Then spray with compatible cleaner and wipe with soft clean cotton cloth. Minimizing dirt either on the surface or in your cleaning equipment is the key to prevent scratching. However there is no way to be totally scratch free, it will happen, just a matter of minimizing it. Also I never allow the car wash folks to wipe down my instrument panel or wood trim.
