So i was just doing some low speed low noise =P cruising around my quiet neighborhood and noticed some whining in the rear especially when im at a stop. I havent changed my fuel filter ever since i got my car and i got a feeling it could be the filter.

Its most likely the filter. If after you take the car for a trip and turn the car off, if when you turn the car to "on" you hear a whine/beep its the filter. I'd get it changed ASAP only because of the cold weather. Its an easy DIY, just make sure you get the right filter.

Will order today and do it next week since it will take a bit to get in.
Thanks

I've seen the fuel pump make that noise more often than the filter. That whine/beep you hear is the fuel pump priming the system, they all do it. Its always a good idea to replace both though.

The fuel pump as in the one under the rear seat right not engine bay? I'll start with the filter first.

Pump, if I remember correctly. I did a lot of thread searches when I had issues with the follower and I think that was mentioned
