So I want to get a euro filler plate and replace the front plate but Texas law requires the front plate.
Currently it is in my dash, I hate it there, I thought about getting a tow hook license plate holder but I seem to only find them that are $80+ and if that is the case, then it's gay.
Is it possible to make my own? I cannot seem to find the tow hook with out the hook portion of it.
What is your suggestion on this matter? Leave it on the main filler plate, or try for the tow hook plate.
I think the front plate destroys the look of the b7s but that's me.

Leave it on the main filler plate. You ca still get a ticket for having it on the dash, so if you get ticketed: that is like paying for the tow hook plate holder. I am pretty sure you can make your own with the proper tools. I would not put a euro plate and my regular plate on the car because it looks stupid. It reminds me of people with tons of bumper stickers.

I think you misunderstood what I want to do.
I just don't want the plate on the filler plate if possible, and I want to replace the US filler plate with a euro filler plate, but not actually run a euro plate.

You can buy legal Euro plates in Texas now. They just passed the law a few months ago. I think the website is Texasplates.com or something like that. Just call TXDOT and they should be able to point you in the right direction after you wait on hold for an hour.

Y'all are totally missing the point. I do not want a European plate. I want to move the location of the us plate somewhere besides the grill
