Family moved from New York so we went from not having any car to having to get a new car. We didn't have the benefit of running our college cars to the ground then buying years later. We ended up getting a CPO Audi A4 which the wife will take. So its my turn. Problem is I don't want to spend 15k on a horrendously overpriced honda when I can spend 25k on something nice. I test drove a BMW 3 series and a Lexus is250 today. Thats all fine and dandy but I like the A4 more than both of them. It absolutely blows the lexus out of the water (who buys those things?) and is slightly better than the 3 series in my mind. I really like how the Audi drives. It feels like a mini-go-kart but at the same time is smooth. The interior design and body design is also very well done. Problem is I don't want to buy two identical luxury vehicles.
I want get an absolute crap Hyundai accent and run it to the ground. Sadly I am in the legal profession so I have to have to put forward some sort of non-slacker image. You guys have any suggestions? I already suggested that we buy her something and I take the A4 but she refuses.

dude.. its your wife... being in the legal profession i thought youd know this... hit her until shit submits, its legal as long as you don't hit her in any visible areas...
you looking new or used brotha? if i could do it all over again i sure as shit wouldn't buy a a4.... but i like it and im working on making it into the car i want it to be..
Take a look at some volvos - s60, c30 both nice... aero Saab... get an a3 if you wanna stick with audi... or bmw 335xi .... i mean, whats your price range - cant ask a general question and get a specific answer.. if you do lexus you gotta do is350...

What about an Audi A5? Its a 2 door coupe, looks different than b7 A4 and its still a pretty sharp car.
There is also:
Volkswagen CC
BMW 335I
Infiniti G35/G37
Audi A5
Audi TT
Audi A3
Audi A8(used)
Audi S4
Volkswagen GTI
Volkswagen R32
Volkswagen GLI
Mercedes C300 or C350
Acura TL
Acura TSX
Jaguar XF(Don't know your price range)
Or as others have suggested talk to your wife and see if there is another car she would like.

Im a big fan of the Cadillac cts's, they really are nice, similar to the a4 where its got a luxury look but with a few small mods can look very aggressive at the same time. The a4 is more of a sports luxury which i like more than just straight luxury.
Just buy another a4 and mod it so its more unique than your wife's a4, but watch out, once u mod, you can't stop.
