Looking to add ipod adapter to OEM stereo but have a ?

Hey guys i saw this kit http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B7_A4-Quattro-2.0T/Interior/Stereo/ES251288/ and http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B7_A4-Quattro-2.0T/Interior/Stereo/ES251287/ wanted to know how can you tell if you have Symphony II or II+? Don't want to buy the wrong item. Thanks in advance.

why wouldnt you get the dension or one of those other type. It would be cheaper and does exactly the same thing. Theyll also allow control through the MFSW... just keep your options open.

2005.5-2006 have Symphony II 2007 & 2008 have Symphony II+. The OEM kits do not show text and lock the controls on the iPod. For the Price I would get the dice kit. Or for a few bucks more get the Dension.

Here is a link to the Dension unit along with a couple of videos on how it works. The first video is in an allroad but the operation is the same if you don't have steering wheel controls. The 2nd and 3rd are if you do have steering wheel controls but the video is in a 2007 with a symphony II+.
