@Somebody5788 - did you contact Max @ 034? Great deal! I was thinking about picking those up, but then I got the $100 discount from my seller. Couldn't refuse.

@dwalmop - keeping searching. I found mine on a craigslist ad.

Ugh I'm so mad! UPS has been holding my C/O's 3 hours away from me near Chicago for over 24 hours. Normally when I order something that goes through that shipping depot it takes them overnight to get here if they receive it by like ~7 P.M. They received them on the 4th at 9:30 and usually they start deliver again at midnight Monday morning. But noooooooooo they are waiting to send it out tonight probably around 7-8..... seriously??????????????? Couldn't just make it a day ahead of schedule?????????????

I work for FedEx, and the Christmas season is no joke. For example, today is my day off. But guess who still had to work? Yep...........this guy. Did 108 successfull delivered "stops" (not packages) and was done by 2:00[drive]. My normal route is anywhere from 95-135 stops. I do a minumum of 140 a day now..................with an entire town taken off my route. And it is only the beginning.

It's the same kit as the stasis kit.. It just doesn't include those white plastic washers on the perches.

But it's been sitting in a warehouse for how many hours???? Just seems wrong. I mean it's coming exactly when they claimed it would but I feel like it shouldn't be listed as if it's there if they are just gonna hold onto it.

I wouldn't advertise it as the same kit. The STaSIS ones are tuned further for the B5 chassis.

They're identical kits. Stasis doesn't "tune" them in any way. Just a common myth to try to justify their significantly higher pricetag. The only physical difference between them is the washers and an envelope with instructions and stickers.

The only difference between Stasis and Koni coilovers is that Stasis sends their coilovers at a pre-set damper and ride height. I think they did a poll to find out what is preferance. For example, Nic, when you get your Stasis coilovers, don't be surpirsed if no adjustments will be needed after install. Not so much with the Konis. And by not so much, I mean not at all.

Tracksports is a different story, though. These are the coilovers I really wanted, but were out of my price range.

x2. From what I can find, there are very few, if any, differences. My uncle has the Stasis coils on his S4 and they ride soft (just like Koni's).

I figure it will ride like my car does now. Minus the blown shocks that is. Vogtland sport springs are just like 15-25% stiffer then stock which is all I want in a daily application. It would of been $600 for Bilstein shocks anyways and some friends of mine had those just not last very long for them so I opted for the Koni's/STaSIS combo

Good choice.

Just noticed how this thread got jacked, but still in context[:p].

All good information - IMO. I like the thought of having everything pre-set before installing them. Plug-n-play is my favorite.

Yep got the front w/ steering rack done Tuesday and yesterday I did the rear. Are you installing them yourself? I used the shops coil spring compressor and I'm starting to think the ones they rent or sell at autozone would of been easier... Just mainly because of the variable rate springs.

The Autozone rental tools are complete junk. I purchased Craftsman coil compressors (see sig) because I simply don't trust their sh*t. I rented 2 "bent" tools from them before, and feared the same thing happening to the coil spring compressors (not a good thing to gamble with that much pressure the springs have when compressed). Didn't know what could happen, so didn't chance it. Their brake caliper piston tool works lime a charm, though.

Lol - I feared my life when compressing my old H&R sport cup springs. Those wall mount compressors are SLAW!!!!

I'm going to have my local tuner (Wolfsburg) install them. I've got some other things that need to be done and I just don't have the time nor the tools.

What ride height are you guys setting these to? I'm thinking 25.25 all around.

I've got a set of 18" S4 Avus rims that I might put on, but I might just keep my 17" AEZ radons on for the time being (I just wrapped them in some Dunlop SP signatures).

Leave them at what STaSIS adjusts them to for break in. Just confirm they are all adjusted the same lol.

I'm going for 25 - 25.25

I have mine set currently at 25.5" all around for the winter season (16" steelies with 205/55/16 winter tires), slightly lower in the summer (not going for slammed lok, especially with 16" stockers). Going to be ordering my wheels for the spring/summertime this weekend (PY Speed is permitting me to get in on a deal they had offered like 2 months ago[up]), and not sure what my height will be after I get these bad boys on.

I was at 25.75 with 18" tires and vogtland springs. I had about half an inch wheel gap that ima eliminate this year.
