I was hoping a A4 pro could help me determine what year A4 my seats came out of. I have black cloth seats that did not come in the car that have diagonal lines on the seats. I went a looked at a 1997 with a buddy and this had the black cloth interior but the lines were going straight up/down on the seats. Is there an early and late style pattern on the seats and do you know where the cut-off is?

My year is the end of 97 and I have the diagonal lines across my black clothes seats. IMHO- One of the better interiors for that car.

Best regards,
Sean.

Do you mind me asking how much you paid for your cloth seats. Just trying to figure out what something like that is worth in good condition.

Best regards,
Sean

an average for complete rear set is 175.00-250.00 upon condition and shipping. i might be in the market to sell them silly as it sounds since i just bought them. im tinkering on buying a b6 shell for my vr6 build

the 97 seats, due to their rarity and badassness.. i've bought a pair, had them awhile and got 500 plus an interior for them.. then i bought another mint set for 400 that i am using.. both sets were 9/10 and heated..

but i have these. 97 sport clothes, heated.

I'm thinking about buying a 1997 Audi A4 with the dark-gray/black sport cloth seats that are heated. Swap them into my car.

You guys got it right, these are the seats that are in my car in black....

The car I was looking at for buddy was a 1997 A4 1.8T and had these seats...

These are the seats in my car, they look black when you are standing in front of them but they look grey here....

Whatever these seats came out of had the cold weather package so these are heated and I know the drivers side works really well. Most Canadian cars had the cold weather package so it is harder to find seats in Canada that don't have seat heaters. These will be up for sale at some point, I need seats with side impact air bags which these don't have so they will have to go. I wonder how popular the sport seats were back in the day? If I can't find sport seats then I will have to settle for the B5 S4 seats which would be the black leather. I don't like the mixed ones not do I want to have them recovered so I would have to go with the leather seats. I've had both and I prefer cloth over leather, it doesn't look as classy but it really helps stick you to the seat.

Why do you need them to have airbags? You can put a resistor on the plug so it thinks its plugged in.
