when my turbo is whinding down, i can hear the rattling noise and when i punch it it takes like 3-4 seconds to make the boost ( kinda of lags to make boost).DO u think i need to replace my waste gate? Also can i tkae it to a turbo mechanic and will they be able to chekc and see if the wastegate is failing or not working properly?I know my turbo isnt blown because can hold boost at like 10psi. when replaceing the wastegate does the turbo need to be removed?

I just recently installed the 110 sport valve, with no leaks, car runs at 18hg in park or neutral and 15 hg in drive while idling.

well considering out wastegates are interanl on our turbos I think you will have to replace the entire turbo. have you noticed any blue smoke at startup or burning of oil?

Yeah you have to take the turbo out to replace the wastgate. The part is $180 at ECSTuning. The labor will be quiet expensive~3-4 hours. I would check for leaks and the bpv first.

there is no sblue smoke or burnt oil when i start up at all. My bypass valve is new and i cant hear any leaks. If i had a leak wouldnt it show me on my boost gauge like a low hg reading?
