Just registered recently, but I've been on this site many times before. I searched and couldn't find anything on a C6 engine swap. I want somewhere around 400-450 hp. Currently I have a C6 3.2 quattro, I was thinking of putting the 2.0t motor in it and getting a turbo kit. Audi builds a 2.0t in Europe I think so all the wiring and parts are available. What would be needed to do this swap? Any other motors I should look into? Cost estimate?

For the price involved in a swap why not just sell yours and buy an A4, then use the rest of the money to build it. Seriously, it will take a LOT to get that working correctly-including more than likely a drivetrain swap which means importing heavy parts from Europe. Your only hope is if the C6 2.0TFSI is offered in canada, but I just don't think it is, and it would still be way expensive. Like I said, just buy something better-or swap in a 4.2. Either way you are looking at spending at an absolute MINIMUM $15000 just in parts and labor to install/fab-regardless of the motor.

I'll trade you my 2.0 A4 if you want...

Just buy a C6 with a 3.0T and buy the Stasis chip and you are at 400hp.

Well, I got the car as a gift from my dad. It's a 2006, 3.2, avant. I can't afford to go and get a 3.0 right now. I'm going to start getting some cosmetic bits soon, and I was thinking that once I save up some money, I would do a swap.

Do you guys think I could do the 2.0t swap for under 10k? Could the trans from the 2.0 bolt right up to the existing driveshaft? Or is it not as simple as bolting in the motor with some new mounts and wiring?

Either way I'm going to keep the car, it has a lot of sentimental value to me. I was just trying to figure out the possibilities.
