I know there's plenty of DIYs out there for install, just curious what kind of plugs everyone is running? Good site? or does everyone get Bosch's from their nearest AutoZone?
Thanks!

? Just wanna know if people have had bad luck with a shitty set. Local car shops in the past have worked fine, I just don't have any any experience on an Audi.

Plugs are plugs. If you're buying NGK's for example, it doesn't matter which distributor you buy them from as they all come from NGK. Think I got mine from ECS. Google works.

That's fine, just search 'spark plugs' and you'll have your answer.

Why do you even post if it's not helpful? How old are you?
Obv I searched and didn't anything related but procedures on how to install which isn't a probelm. I think I should have re phrased my question to "What kind of spark plugs are the best with the 2.0 FSI motor" to avoid dik head comments. For instance, NGK's run the best with Honda's...
Please refrain from explaining yourself if you do not have anything useful to say.

I don't help morons who ask asinine questions that have been answered 849 times.
I learned what spark plugs to put in what cars when I was 11 which was about 15 years ago, now. Do the math.

Got a set of the OEM Bosch off ebay. Cheaper than ECS, Europarts.

In all fairness, the OP has a very legitimate question. I've searched for hours and hours on this subject last week, sifting thru lots of threads on Vortex as well as foreign forums, and there isn't a lot of content out there. Most 2.7T guys will agree on running either cheap coppers and replace them often, or use the side firing Bosch platinums. Some 2.0T owners are having mixed reviews on the side firing Bosch platinums. My car came from the factory with top firing Bosch platinums number f6kpp332s. The one's I received in my DBC performance tune up kits are fr6kpp332s, which have a different electrode shape and don't idle quite as smooth as my old plugs. No seems to be able to tell me why. Dealership says OEM uses NGKs (which mine clearly didn't come from the factory with). Bottom line is that no one that I've found so far really knows what the fuck is best for these new FSI engines unlike older VAG engines.

Wow, there are way too many assholes on this forum. Really disappointing. Makes me miss my Jeep forum, where people were actually helpful!
OP, I just go back to the stealership because I can walk there from my house. Also, the OEM sparks work just fine.
Good luck!

If its Jeepforum.com then that site's search function blows b/c its FLOODED with repetitive nonsense on what is better BDS or OME, rusty's or Rubicon, Currie or Tom Wood.
People jump on questions like these b/c there are so many answers out there and question like these are answered weekly. Also the new crop of posters seem to have some real crap and misleading info to GIVE....thats a huge problem. If any OP of any thread gave the search function a few tries then he or she would mostly have their answer OR ask a very educated question.

Good info, but the OP was only asking where to by spark plugs.

How does it idle? Did you notice any difference from Stock? I have similar mods & will be getting HPFP & ER Smic. (By the way how much do the ER's help the heat soak?)
thanks,

thanks,
Car seems to idle fine, no different than stock plugs. I switched plugs because I was having a surging issue after the stage II flash. RPMs would shoot up but the car wouldn't accelerate any faster, then the RPMs would drop back down and continue climbing normally. Felt as though clutch was slipping, but the car only had 35k miles. When I switched the plugs, the surging went away (actually, the surging happened again recently, but only twice).
As for the intercoolers, I did notice more pep in the summer, so they seem to be working really well. I'm happy with them.
