hey guys
sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.

i was wondering if someone could help me on this. i searched around but couldnt find exectly the right answer. i found a deal on a set of wheels with the following specs: 17x10 offset 17p and 17x8.5 offset 18p. im wondering if these would fit on my car. i drive a 96 1.8T FWD. im currently on H&R sports and stock shocks with my front fenders rolled. i will be getting coilovers in the future once im done fixing everything but i found a deal on these wheels so id jsut like to know if i would be able to run them.

hope someone can tell me if these would fit, what i would need to make them fit, and what tyres i would need if ever.
thanks!

Compare the wheel you have on their now to the wheel you want to get. Then measure and see if the spots it increases have clearance.

i cant comment on the rears but the fronts may or may not. this is a 17x8.5 et19 with 215/40s, trimmed fenders, trimmed liners...rubbed like a whore:

NOW, with smaller tires and a little more fender work than i was prepared to do...you could make the fronts work.

@crispy222 thanks for the link. was using a different one but this one is much better

@mad hatter wow your car looks really good... so you're running 215 40 in the front for the offset?

im beginning to think that i may not be able to make these things fit properly. thanks for all the help, time to look for a different set.

215/40/17 tires on a wheel with a 19 offset. They are no longer on the car though, they fitment did not work for me.

10" and 17 offset is going to stick out a whole lot. Mine are 18x10 et19 and a 225/40 would be preferred tire size to barely fit.

Because of that, you may have to roll and flare out the rears a bit.

I think you may have to roll and flare out the fronts a bit too.

You could make em work for sure. Something like 205/40 f and 215/40 r with some fender work and it could happen.
