On my way back home from school on the frwy. Doin about 65. All of sudden my steering gets heavy and starts to go to the right. Im like fvck...my steering just went out. Then my car starts to shake and start to smell a little scent of burnt rubber. So I get off the frwy. As I get off my car starts to shake like crazy and im thinking w t f is going on right. Pull over the side of the road to find this

Shit blew the fvck out and was riding on rim for a couple hundred feet. Plus messed up my bumper, so i have to deal with that now. Time to bring out the stockers [=(]

yup. scary stuff

blowouts are scary! Whats alsoscary is when your a dumbass and forget to tighten your lugs and then watch your front wheel fly right in front of you and you begin to skid going 30. Glad you were ok man! Did you not have a spare wheel, so you had to tow?

i bet cause it was low pro u were able to keep control. a 55 series tire might have folded over

Blow out's when there isn't much tire to begin with are way way more controlled then a 15" or 16" normal size wheel. You sir are lucky hehe. I had this happen a week or so ago. But it was time to put snow tires on anyways. I was only doing 40mph though so I felt the difference and pulled off the road. Honestly didn't do any damage to the tire itself. Wore a little of the side wall but not past the letters on the side so it's safe.

What kind of tires? And these look awfully similar to my rims but they aren't the exact same.
