Looks like a good price and although the instructions are engrish looks fairly detailed... from the looks of the pipes I don't think I will have to mod them at all to hook up sensors... what do you all think???

pretty expensive for what it is, also it just has 2inch piping, to small if you plan on doing any mods, ideal it 2.25 on hot side and 2.5 on cold side, i have a cxracing kit on mine and i got the universal kit for 130, been working great for 5years and works great on my stage 3 build

damn... didnt see that it was only 2in pipe. trying to find a cheap ebay IC kit that will work with little to no modifications needed to fit.

That intercooler will lose it's effeciency past a k04-15. That core is "rated" for at most 300chp (if that), and you want your intercooler to have a flow rating more than what application is on your vehicle.

That guy never came back to me when I requested for a picture of the intercooler's core. He just sent me an email, "its bar and plate design."

I was keen on this but was put off when he never came back. Ive seen some good, some horrible cores thats why I asked.

Racetec's FMIC is only 2in. I haven't heard any complaints about theirs.

I am still considering it.

I'd suggest you look at anyone of the custom B5 A4 kits on ebay, email them and ask can you get the piping separately. You may be surprised at how willing they are to do that. Remember most of these kits aren't using cores specific to A4's so selling the piping separately shouldn't be a big deal. I did this with one of the sellers and I was able to get specific piping/couplers/silicone connectors for my B6 for $130 shipped. With the money saved, I can afford to splurge on a quality core, which I'm looking for right now. Just take note of the orignal core dimesions and essentially all you have to do is match the length. I'll probably go with a custom Bell core, because I couldn't find a Treadstone core that was the right length thickness. B5 guys might have more rooms and I know you guys have more options on Ebay for FMIC kits. Good Luck.
