View Full Version : Saw my first B7 on the roads this morning

so on my way to work I see this black car turn ahead of me and I'm like "how oddly familiar OMGIT'SAB7!" so I get all stoked. I catch up and pass him slowly and checked it out. It was a black 2.0T quattro (from Power Audi in Newport, in case anyone's wondering, haha) with the sport-package and I have to say, I am a fan. I'd seen the B7 before in person at the LA Auto Show and in countless pics, of course, but this was the first time that I'd seen one in motion and such.

took a drive past the dealership recently but no luck... havent found one in person so far..... I didnt like them at first but the more i see them the more i warm up to them....
Once i see one niceley " hooked up" i think i'll be a fan....

Where did you see it at Imperial? You know I'm not going to see too many around my parts. [;)] Those Power dealership have awesome deals sometimes. Huge volume.

I saw it in Del Mar on PCH/Camino Del Mar.
Yeha, I hear those Power dealerships are supposed to be really cool. I called the Newport one up once, though, and the guy on the phone was a total douchebag, so I vetoed any further reconaissance missions, but I might have to reconsider soon...

Reconsider for what... You thinking about a new ride??? B7 maybe? I was considering B6 S4 for my next ride, but seriously thinking about a B7 now. Nothing is going to happen for at least another year though.
North county sighting... go figure. [:p] I was considering buying a truck from Power Chevy before I found my car. They were give a couple thousand more off than any other dealership. They were giving something like 9k off the current model year. [eek]

They don't have many Audis there, mostly Porsche. You'll see about 50 Cayennes (YUCK!!!) and a couple of B7 A4s. No S4s yet.
