For some reason, I am getting the low coolant warning 4-5 days after I fill the car with new coolant. Looking at my garage, I don't see signs of a leak, so is there another issue taht could be causing this besides a leak?
thanks

Nope. You're leaking coolant somewhere. If it isn't showing up on the outside of the motor, then it's leaking it into the motor.

If you have the plastic covers underneath your car, it could be that the coolant is pooling on that instead of on your garage floor. It would then evaporate off. Also, most coolant leaks only happen when the system is pressurized (when the car is running), this means that coolant would leak only for a few minutes after your car is turned off until the engine cooled.
I would look around the bottom of the engine to see if you could find any signs of dried up coolant. The G12 stuff leaves a chalky buildup after it evaporates. If you can find some signs then you might get a better idea from where the leak is coming.

i see you have a 1.8t. check the J-plug on the block (look threw intake mani runners to the front of the block, look for coolant trail), also check rear coolant flange on the head, and the radiator.
