does your rear speaker deck rattle a lot. Every time I have even a little bass in a song it rattles and sounds awful. Just wondering if there is anything you can do to keep it from shaking. I put a cd case full of cds up there for now but it slides all around. TIA.

dynamat or some other version of tar insulator on the points that rattle.

Yeah maybe a clip broke in mine or something. I only have one rockford 12. I will probably just take it to an audio shop and let them take care of it.

I got two 12" in a box and there is no rattling at all. Only a little from the outside by the license plate. sh!t sounds tight though in B5s, probably the best sound I've ever had in one of my cars. I can also control the gain on my amp from a little tuner that i had installed next to my driver's seat. I can adjust the thump in case I am in a shady neighborhood or if i see cops. i love this feature.

mine rattles a shit load...but then again my bass is up pretty high...i used dynamat under the rear deck and took out the grey carpet crap and put dynamat inbetween there on the trunk too...i got 2 10's....but yeah, my rear deck still rattles on a certain pitch of bass...mainly lower bass it doesn't rattle at all, just a clean thump, but the higher bass pitches makes it rattle in my car

my rear deck broke due to my subs.... i had 2 eclipse titaniums in the trunk. i fixed it back up and cut holes into the rear deck so it can act like port for my subs. it no longer rattles since half of the bass that used to make it rattle is forced out into my car

I have 4 Resonant Engineering RE8"s. Trunk rattles a bit, so does the deck if i turn it up. Mostly becuase my subs are facing up.. It really depends on which way your subs are facing.

One Solobraic 12, and my trunk rattles, but you can only hear it outside, my rear deck doesn't rattle, but my sunroof control panel does. Bugs the crap out of me.

Yeah I am gonna check the screws tomorrow. It does kinda sound like a loose screw.

if putting weight on your rear deck pevented the deck from rattling i doubt that its just a loose screw...

I have 2 10" and both the trunk and the rear deck rattled. I took off the licence plate bracket and put dynamat behind it and it fixed that problem (along with some rubber washers) I am going to dynamat the deck lid to fix that problem this summer

Same for me, but I think its a plastic-meets-speaker issue for me.

the rear deck rattles only if you maybe got aftermarket speakers and they are not held on tight enough, or something is loose, my rear deck does not rattle, but lets not mention the trunk!!!
