Damn $15k thats nice. Pitch in a couple more and swing for the S4? I want to wreck my car now...
Are you gonna still be able to snag peices off your car or is that $15k as is today?

looking at his profile you will see he is 21. after totalling a car im all but sure he wont be able to afford the s4 consideirng his insurance is about to go through the roof. im speaking from experience, thats the reason i have an a4 not an s4. not to knock you dude, you might have mad loot, but insurance is going to be another battle you will have to think about when it comes to buying your next whip

yeah the tool kit is still for sale i'll send you a PM.

As far as another car, i would love to get another B5 but i can't afford it cause i am planning on going to UTI and i need to save some.

As for insurance, i'm still getting that paid for by the parents somehow(as long as im' in school).

I will be temp. out of the audi scene but once i'm done with UTI i'll surely be right back.

You'd be surprised at how much the 'fair market value' of our cars are.

When I wrecked my Miata back in October, I had just paid $3700 for it. The insurance settled with me (not my fault, so his insurance paid me) for $5200. I was pleasantly surprised. I can't remember the name of the company used, but from what the insurance guy told me, there is an independant co. that does an analysis of the car and the cars available in the area. Not a bad thing!!! Not sure how true that is, nor do I care. I was happy that I had not poured alot of money into it, and to come out 'ahead'.

Later,
Mike

well i got into an accident in december that ran me 7k in damage on my car. insurance wouldnt total it even with me begging them to. they said they cant bc. the value of the car was 18,200. its an 01 1.8t sport package/winter package and i had just turned 70k miles... audis run expensive as shit in my area. im so pissed they wouldnt total it, im already high risk and a half so im not worried about insurance going up anymore, i peaked, im as high as it gets!!! 6500/year!!! woooooo hooooooo
