I'm starting to think about my christmas list and I want to get some new lug bolts since mine look like crap. I want to get something other than the usual silver and was wondering if anyone knew of a place that sells them?

Edit: Yes I just realized as soon as I hit post that I spelled "lug" wrong feel free to flame

Why not just spray the ones you have? just poke them through some cardboard and go to town

I Don't know if its possible or not, buut powder coating would be a little better than paint. Just because the minute you torque them dowm, the paints fonna come off on the edges. But colored ones can get kinda pricey from the ones i saw.

I guess you could tighten them down the mask around the lug hole and spray them...

I don't want to paint them because it will look like crap the first time you take a wrench to them. I know there are plastic caps you can get but i was under the impression that there were ones that came colored and were durable. Maybe I'm making things up but it was worth asking.

there are some wheels that the caps make it look clean, but 99% of them just look funny with them on

Plus those caps are annoying to take off, especially in rush/emergency situations

like pit stops...

somewhere along the line we lost the stupid tool... i ended up stabbing them with a screw driver to remove em.

if was to do something colored, the caps would be the way to go IMO. quick, easy, cheap, and wouldn't have edges chipped.
