Time for new 18" wheels! Help me pick!

Two scenarios:
1) use my beat-up stock Avus wheels for the winter, buy something new for the summer tires
2) use some beat-up (used) C5 RS6 or D3 A8L wheels for the winter, refinish the stock Avus wheels for the summer tires

Sorta leaning towards the C6 S6 wheels since they're very unique and muscular, or the BBS CH for the classic look (afraid they're a bit overplayed though).

I give the vote to the C6 set because I haven't seen it done yet, and I like those wheels [up]

Are you getting the OEM 19" C6 S6 wheels or an 18" aftermarket version? If it's an 18" aftermarket, they might not look as good as the OEM as the spoke length goes down and it starts to look a bit cluttered.

C5 RS6 FTMFW!!! as a summer set up and use stock Avus wheels for winter

The OEM C6 S6 wheels are 19x9.0" ET52 and will likely require spacers to work, plus they are almost 37Lbs each.

We have a set of the A8 fat fives here for $600 if you're interested.

C6 S6 is an 18" replica...do they look weird? You bring up an interesting point.

Discount Tire Direct has 18" RS6 reps for like $540 shipped - $100 rebate = $440 total.

Not too crazy about the Avus for either summer or winter.

My vote goes to the C5 RS6 or C6 S6 for winters, and then get yourself something awesomer for summer.

BBS CH is very nice, but overplayed. There are many other BBS to choose from, if you wanna stay there. If not, even more variety to choose from.

CH is always a great bet and one of the most popular selling BBS part numbers!

What about the new CH-R thats coming in? A variant of the CH

Or perhaps something from VMR?

I do not like the Rotiform or VMR. Those are definitely overplayed. They also look horrible to clean.

Inexpensive and something OEM-ish. Don't want the car to stand out too much. Every wheel I posted is OEM (and the CH is effectively OEM).

^ Unless they're flawless and under $450, it's easier for me to just get the Discount Tire replicas. $442 shipped (after two rebates, and 0% for 6 mo)

Thanks all! I ended up ordering the C5 RS6 replicas from Discount Tire. $542 shipped and a $100 rebate on top of that, plus 0% for 6 months since I have their store credit card.

Sadly, I can't mount these wheels until spring.
