i went to check/change my oil today and the dip stick tube just snapped. do i need to bring it to a dealer ? id really like a DIY from someone who possibly knows

building a 2.1 stroker for a friend of mine. he bought his block brand new and they dont come with the metal dipstick tube. Well the original number has been superceeded by ones from a 2.0t that are just a hair too big and require ungodly amounts of beating the shit out of it with a dull chisel or punch.

you'll be removing all but your entire drivers side engine components to get good access to it.. im, breather hoses, alt, ps pump, etc. I was lucky enough to do it on an engine stand and even then it took me 20 mins of cussing and pounding.
