Take the plastic cover off the front of your block.
Its right there once you take it off. You can't miss the sensor.

btw, bank 2 camshaft position sensor is on the drivers side? i just replaced a bank 1 oxygen sensor and it was on the passengers side, so i figured that camshaft position sensors would be labeled just like that. plz confirm this :)

yes, and it is on the back side of the engine, next to the firewall. pain in the ass, but you will find it.

I was thinking 1.8t.
Although, I don't know this but the 2.8's bank 1 may also be on the front.

Yeah, bank 1 (passenger side) has the CPS on the front of the engine. Bank 2 (driver side) has the CPS on the rear of the engine, below the coolant reservoir. You just undo the 3 phillips screws for the reservoir and "flip" it forward. No need to disconnect anything.

This is for the 2.8 DOHC 30v engine. 98-2001
