I know that some ppl put 2.8 heads on there 2.7 block so i was wondering if i could do the opposite?

My thoughts would be that i could use s4 headers and such and thus twin turbo?

the manifolds fit the 2.8 heads.. the issue is management and getting something to work in there.. idk what the limits of the pistons/rods are, but PES doesnt advise anything over 240-250 awhp.

its a lot more complicated to tt the 2.8 then throwing on 2.7 manifolds, or every 2.8 owner would be TT'ing their car.

Im not completely sure, but I think they fit, but you would have to change to the s4 bottom end to drop the compression (valves might hit the pistons if you didnt, I dont know this but its deff something to consider), and I dont think the s4 crank fits the 2.8 block. without going to the s4 bottom end then your engine wont work for long.
Might be wrong though, someone really needs to confirm.

okay so i can put s4 headers on my 2.8? do they make non turbo headers for the 2.7? and could i finf low comp pistons for my 2.8 if i did change the heads?

we are talking about cylinder heads, not the exhaust manifold, you have to remember that the 2.8 doesnt have a turbo where the 2.7 does and the manifold itself will be completly different because it bolts up to the turbos, from my knowledge ive never seen or heard of a 2.7l n/a

i know were r talking about the cylinder heads but the one guy said that the manifold will fit up so thats what i was asking about when i asked about the n/a headers

Couldn't you just build the bottom end and swap an S4 ecu into a 2000+ v6 car to run an S4's turbo setup? Obviously you'd have to do a custom fmic, but I think that would be a pretty sweet setup. I guess most people just don't want to tear into their engine.

Don't do the swap lol not worth the time. Keep the 2.8 heads they flow more air which is why I have them. Just swap in stock s4 exhaust valves, all the springs and retainers. Also 2.7t manifold will bolt right up.
