the Nav+ looks nice but it doesnt do jack......

yeah nav plus is cool. I did it because it was different. if you seriously want to do this you will need the following.
One double din radio cage from a S4 or late model A4 Dealer cost over 400
The climate controls from a S4 Price ranging from 50 to 200
One center console to match your interior from a A4 . (I havn't gotten this yet but modded my factory one. its acceptable but will not pass my anal ways. Looking to buy one this summer. Price 200 and up
you will also need a wiring harness gotten from nav-plus.com and gps anntenna. cost 100 to 150
shifter surround price unknown
gps maps for north america rewriten to boot in the euro system price unknown...

If you sit down and collect the parts like I did and wait. I thought I had all the required parts before i did the install and I didn't/ Now I am kicking myself.

If you want nav and have the single DIN radio...just go aftermarket. its cheaper in the long run

yeah, the Nav+ is very unique and i admire those who have done it, but it's certainly not worth it. go with those new kenwood or pionees ones, liek the AVS1000 or some shit, i'm totally blanking on the name, it was in Eurotuner, but the new oens have amazing nav options and pretty cool traffic bypass features

hmm. think i will pass. doesnt seem worth it. but props on tackling a job like that.
