So im doing a bbk up front[evilsmile] and was thinking about doing my rears also. Question is how many of you have done it?

Im doing a 4 piston front and found a great deal on D2S8 rears[wrench], go for it? or not?

Lol no one I'm the a6 section really has bbks. And since I'm a 2.8 I figure the a4 guys would be better. All a4s and the a6 2.8 have the same stock brakes.

When I did my fronts I also did the s4 rears with the b7 s4 300mm rotors. Combined with the 996 fronts I did up front the car had some serious stopping power.

I'm doing Boxster S or 996 fronts with a 321 (B5 S4) and want to do the D2 S8 280 rear. Wondering if it'll throw anything off?

It is a single piston caliper. So not to sure.

Go for it! You're brake bias should be fine.

034 makes a 300MM rear brake kit. Just to let you know.

034 BBK (http://www.034motorsport.com/chassis-components-brakes-034-motorsport-big-brake-kits-big-brake-kit-race-rear-b5-300mm-piston-p-20136.html)

It uses a lighter and stiffer Willwood 4 piston caliper. If you got the money to go with a 2-pc rotor, there is serious weight loss to be had.
